The challenges in water, sanitation and hygiene are very great and individual efforts in this context are not very effective, so only with coordinated and synergistic work will we make significant and sustainable changes in our reality; Consequently, one of our fundamental values is associativity in all our actions.
As Water For People we promote and act in association with local governments, communities, institutions and companies, seeking the highest level of participation in the sustainable solution of water, sanitation and hygiene problems, being an active part in the following networks and platforms in Bolivia.
GLOBAL COMPACT
The Global Compact is an initiative created by mandate of the United Nations that works for more sustainable and inclusive global economies and promotes the implementation of 10 Universal Principles in the areas of Human Rights, Labor Standards, Transparency and Anti-Corruption and the Environment, with the objective that are included in the strategies and operations of the companies.
On June 23, 2016, the Global Compact Network was founded in Bolivia, with the presence of 14 organizations. As of this date, the Executive Secretariat of the Global Compact and Focal Point in Bolivia carries out its activities under the umbrella of the Confederation of Private Entrepreneurs of Bolivia (CEPB). In this sense, it constitutes the technical and coordination body, whose responsibility is to execute the activities that the Global Compact Network designs each year.
CONGI
The Coordinator of International Non-Governmental Organizations Strengthens the coordination, inter-learning and dialogue of international NGOs in Bolivia with the Bolivian State and other actors to enhance the institutional capacities of its members to contribute to the development and human rights of Bolivian society and influence public politics.
COCAB
The Coordinator of Canadian Civil Society Organizations in Bolivia (COCAB) is an inter-institutional network founded in 2011, non-profit and that brings together 21 organizations linked to Canada that have a direct presence and execute programs and projects in the national territory. or through strategic partners in the country.
The network was formed in order to facilitate dialogue with the Bolivian State, International Cooperation and development actors, thus strengthening coordination, synergy and knowledge management.
COLSAR
The Latin American Coalition for Rural Sanitation and Water is a group of leaders of Civil Society Organizations in Latin America that work in rural water and sanitation, and voluntarily decided to join forces to work for the well-being of community water and sanitation services. rural sanitation, compliance with SDG6 and the Human Right to Water and Sanitation for the benefit of the most vulnerable people in the rural sectors of Latin America.
BOLIVIAwithAGUA
#BoliviaconAgua is a consortium made up of Fundación FH Bolivia, Water For People Bolivia, Habitat for Humanity Bolivia and Fundación Agua Tuya, which seeks to generate bridges of solidarity through fundraising to improve the quality of life of vulnerable families living in areas rural or peri-urban, through access to safe water, through the installation of a pool in their homes.
