Water For People and the Government of the department of Cochabamba organize the realization of the Cochabamba Departmental Summit on Water, Sanitation and Water Resources Management, 2023 <\/em><\/strong>with the purpose of generating a space for the exchange of knowledge, analysis and perspective of the actors in the water and sanitation sector of Cochabamba to identify the most pressing challenges that limit the scope of universal water and sanitation services and the comprehensive management of resources. water resources in Cochabamba and the opportunities for collective action necessary to accelerate its progress. This event will allow the evaluation of different areas that are part of the current context on the progress and challenges of the sector in recent years from the perspective of public and private sector actors, cooperation international, academics, civil society and others through the exchange of ideas and analysis to establish joint objectives and commitments necessary to achieve the proposed goals through participatory management.<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\"Acceso\n\t\t

  1. Governance and institutionality<\/strong>: Exploration of government approaches and institutional improvement in terms of management and regulation of the provision of water services, sanitation and the proper management of water resources.<\/li>
  2. Comprehensive management of water resources:<\/strong> Strengthening water resilience and multi-sector coordination for the sustainability of Water Resources and<\/li>
  3. Innovation of technologies and alternatives:<\/strong> Promotion and adoption of innovative and technological solutions for the sustainability of water and sanitation.<\/li>
  4. Investment and financing management:<\/strong> Promotion of strategic alliances and sustainable financing for equity in access to water, sanitation, hygiene and water resources and their resilience.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\n\t\t
